You Get What You Expect
I’m a firm believer in “you get what you expect”. We rise to the level of our expectations. When we expect good things to happen, the universe conspires to bring good things our way—the right people, the right opportunities, the right solutions. It’s amazing how setting our expectations creates the world around us. This works both positively and negatively—if you expect bad things in your life, life will deliver negative situations, circumstances and experiences.
Setting positive, high and achievable expectations forces us to stretch a little without breaking and builds our confidence and resilience so when we are faced with adversity, we have a well of positive experience to draw from. As Radiant Health continues to grow and evolve, we take steps forward and back, learning, failing forward and always with the highest expectation of service to one another and our clients as our highest calling. I expect kindness, compassion, openness, acceptance, humor, learning, teamwork, caring and integrity. I expect each and every one of us to deliver a brighter kind of better and to become the trusted partner in life’s journey toward well-being.
As you move through life, give consideration to your own expectations—big and small. Are they positive and moving you toward the life you dream for yourself or are they laden with discontent and negativity? Pay attention to what you expect and what is delivered to you in your life experience. Make some positive tweaks if you don’t like what you see. Positively adjusting our expectations leads us toward a brighter kind of better.
