Transforming Communities: The Impact of Radiant Health’s CCBHC Model
We’re excited to share some wonderful news from Radiant Health that will soon impact how we serve our community. We are less than 60 days away from opening our Radiant Rapid Response Center, the last big project to be completed as we transform into a (CCBHC). We’ve been operating our 24/7 crisis services out of a temporary location and soon we’ll open our doors to enhanced mental health support, expanded services, and a deeper commitment to the well-being of our community.
I’m often asked, “What is a CCBHC?” Excellent question!
A Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) provides a full range of services that go beyond traditional mental health care. Becoming a CCBHC means we’re offering comprehensive services under one umbrella, including mental health support, addiction treatment, primary care coordination, crisis services, and more. It’s a model designed to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need without jumping through hoops or waiting in long lines.
Why does this transformation matter?
- Better Access to Care: We know that accessibility is key to mental wellness. As a CCBHC. Radiant offers Same Day Care at all its locations allowing you to see someone when you need it. We have in person and telehealth options, and more opportunities for outreach through our 24/7 crisis services and mobile crisis team. Whether it’s a mental health crisis or ongoing support, we want everyone in our community to know that help is close by.
- Holistic Approach: People are not just their diagnoses—they are whole, complex individuals. Our new model will allow us to consider the full picture of each person’s needs, from mental and physical health to social support. By addressing everything that affects well-being, we can create care plans that are as unique as the people we serve.
- Stronger Community Partnerships: A key part of becoming a CCBHC is partnering with local agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and community groups. Together, we’ve built a robust network that strengthens resources and ensures no one slips through the cracks.
- Focus on Recovery: We believe in resilience and recovery, and we know that with the right support, people can achieve their goals. As a CCBHC, we focus on recovery-oriented care, meaning we work with clients to identify their strengths, set personal goals, and build the skills they need to thrive.
- Commitment to Quality: Certification as a CCBHC means meeting high standards in behavioral health. We’ll be regularly assessed to ensure we’re providing safe, effective, and compassionate care to every person who comes through our doors.
Radiant Health is entering a new era. Becoming a CCBHC is a big step for Radiant Health—and for our community. It’s a promise that we’re here to support each person’s journey to wellness with compassion, respect, and understanding.
As we continue this journey, we want you to know that our doors are always open. Whether you’re seeking information, support, or just a safe space, we’re here for you. If you have any questions about what this change means or how it might benefit you or a loved one, please feel free to reach out. We know we are not perfect and we are working hard to be our best for you.
