Lisa A. Dominisse has been chosen as the new Executive Director for Family Service Society, effective January 1, 2015. She has served as Director of Development for the City of Marion since April 2013.
Radiant Health Chooses Lisa Dominisse as Executive Director
Dominisse will succeed Connie Rose, who has been on the staff of Radiant Health for 40 years and was named Executive Director of the Agency in 1988. Rose announced her intent to retire earlier this year.
A search committee spent seven months seeking a successor to Rose. On Thursday, August 28, the Radiant Health Board of Directors approved the search committee’s recommendation to hire Dominisse.
Dominisse was born and reared in Nebraska. She has a bachelor of journalism degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with a major in advertising, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellevue University.
The family moved to the Marion area in June 2012 when Dominisse’s husband, Michael, joined the management team at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Gas City. The Dominisses have three children.
Before coming to Marion, Dominisse was an adjunct faculty member at two colleges in Nebraska and was the senior partner in a George-based company that provided human resources consulting services to individuals and organizations.
In 2000, the governor of Nebraska appointed Dominisse as the Director of his Western Office. Dominisse served three different appointments under the governor, last serving as Director of Rural Development for the state.
After five years in state government, she served first as the Executive Director of the Developent Corporation of North Platte, Nebraska, and later as the Director of Human Resources for a medical center in North Platte.
As the Executive Director of Radiant Health, Dominisse will be the chief executive officer of the agency, reporting directly to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. The agency, which was founded in 1919, has 60 employees and a $2.6 million annual budget.
Radiant Health is a human services agency, which offers a variety of services in school-based, office-based and home-based settings. The agency services 7,000 to 9,000 people annually.
