The 2014 Kids Count DATA BOOK released last week reports the improvements and declines in Child Well-Being throughout the United States.
Indiana Ranked #27 in U.S. for Child Well-Being
The in-depth report takes a look at four areas that feed into well-being: Economic Well-Being, Education, Health and Family & Community. While some of those areas saw slight improvement, the report also indicated some worsened circumstances for children.
The DATA BOOK also provides a child well-being status report for each of the 50 states. Indiana claimed the 27th ranking, jumping up three spots from 2013. Let’s take a closer look at how Indiana stacks up when it comes to child-well being. (SOURCE)
At Radiant Health we believe that investing in children is investing in the future, and the ROI on such an investment can be big! Through FSSI programs such as Healthy Families and Cradle School, we are able to encourage, empower and educate children and their families. It’s been said that it takes a village to raise a child, so let’s do our best to make our “village” a place in which children can thrive!
