Grant Blackford Mental Health Rebrands, Changes Name, Vows to Take Leading Role.

MARION, IN – Grant Blackford Mental Health, Inc. is proud to announce their relaunch as Radiant Health. Having merged with well-respected Family Services Society, Inc. in April 2022 and taken on new leadership, Grant Blackford Mental Health, Inc. is taking major steps forward in the communities they serve. After a robust listening tour and careful research, Lisa Dominisse and the leadership group at Grant Blackford Mental Health have developed a 5-year strategic plan to reshape the organization to better serve their clients, educate their communities, and provide both first-class care and employment opportunities.

The name change marks both a rebirth and doubling down on efforts to improve access to quality mental health care and mental health education across the 34 counties they serve. The organization has rolled out a new website, which will become more feature rich in the months ahead. Expect to see updated appearances at each of their locations, from new window signage, to new physical signage, to more comfortable physical spaces over the next year as well. 

The new name is meant to reflect the positive energy and warm glow they hope Radiant Health brings to the areas served and beyond. Radiant Health has plans to play a pivotal role in the effort to decrease the stigma around mental health and raise mental healthcare to the same level of importance as physical healthcare.

“At Radiant Health, we recognize mental health and physical health are synonymous — one cannot exist without the other and are unique to each person,” said Dominisse. “Working collaboratively with our regional community, we are dedicated to whole person care — from the initial consultation to the first visit and beyond, the lives touched are improved.”

The brand is notably different from others in the mental health space, complete with warm colors, joyful photos, and an affirmative energy. The new brand, and its unique tone, are a product of purposeful decisions at the helm. Radiant Health will offer, as they say, a “brighter kind of better.”

But, a name change represents only a fraction of the changes that will be transpiring over the coming months and years. Radiant Health has been central in providing communities with care for its combined over 150 years, but with the name change and relaunch they vow to play a more central role in educating the communities about mental health and addictions care and convening community leaders to communicate and resolve major local problems.
