[Marion, IN] – Families and children of all ages are invited to join in the festivities at the upcoming “Mental Health Matters” event, taking place at the Gardens of Matter Park on Friday, May 10th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Organized by Radiant Health, this event aims to reduce stigma surrounding mental health while providing attendees with valuable coping and self-regulation tools in a fun and engaging environment.
In partnership with the United Way of Grant County, this event promises a wide range of activities designed to promote mental wellness and inclusiveness. Families will also have the chance to learn about local resources and support services available.
In addition to the array of activities, the event will feature free food and drinks generously provided in part by the United Way of Grant County. From hot dogs and chips to ice cream and cotton candy, be sure to come with an appetite.
Admission to the “Mental Health Matters” event is free, and all members of the community are encouraged to attend. The first 150 youth to arrive will receive a free Mental Health Matters 2024 t-shirt.
