Dominisse Elected to National Council of Mental Wellbeing Board of Directors
The National Council for Mental Wellbeing announced the successful election of Lisa A. Dominisse, President/CEO of Radiant Health, to its board of directors. “Serving on the board requires a major commitment of time and effort, and I’m deeply appreciative for their (board members) service to the National Council and its members”, said National Council President and CEO Chuck Ingoglia.
Founded in 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing is a membership organization that drives policy and social change on behalf of over 3,300 mental health and substance use treatment organizations across the United States and the more than 10 million children, adults, and families they serve.
The National Council builds capacity for mental health and substance use treatment organizations. And promotes greater understanding of mental wellbeing as a core component of comprehensive health and health care.
Dominisse will serve as an officer representing Region 5, that includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a voice for Region 5 and to be at the forefront of policy changes that will affect those of us in the Midwest,” stated Dominisse. “It’s important we have a voice in the future of mental wellbeing and the positive impact that voice can have on everyone we serve. I’m humbled and grateful to my colleagues for supporting and electing me and look forward to serving our region to the best of my ability.”
The Board of Directors of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing represents the membership and is committed to diversity, leadership, and promoting excellence in mental health and addictions treatment. The board is composed entirely of elected volunteers from the staff and community boards of National Council member organizations. Board members are elected by National Council member organizations in each of 10 regions covering the entire U.S.
